The compressed air system section is designed to give users information on ancillary components that make up the overall compressed air system outside of the base components of compressors and dryers. These would include such items as controls, automation systems, pressure flow controllers (PFC), pre or trim coolers. The components in this section will typically be where a user will find information related to energy savings. As all compressed air systems are comprised of at least some type of compressor and normally a dryer of which any type can supply compressed air; Energy savings are accomplished by proper control of the compressor and the related demand side equipment being used downstream.
